Mapelastic Smart – Waterproofing for Pools and Wet Rooms

Mapelastic Smart is a two-component, high-performance waterproofing membrane from Mapei designed for protecting tiled surfaces in wet and water-exposed environments. It is composed of a liquid polymer and a cementitious powder that are mixed on site to form a flexible, seamless coating. Once applied, it creates a continuous waterproof layer that adheres strongly to cement-based substrates.

One of its key advantages is its ability to bridge minor cracks in the substrate. This flexibility helps accommodate small movements in the structure without compromising the waterproof barrier, reducing the risk of water infiltration beneath tiles.
